We offer further certificate courses in cooperation with Steinbeis Global Institute Tübingen. These certificate courses are conducted in English and are certified by the Steinbeis+Akademie at the Steinbeis Hochschule-Berlin.
Design Thinking (DT) evolved at many organizations as the way to solve problems in creative and innovative ways. Much of the thinking behind the DT iterative process focuses on challenging assumptions and redefining problems for products, services or customer experiences. As Design Thinking has taken hold, there has been an increasing demand to raise up its capacity to help solving problems in our business complexities, in our countries and in our lives. Paul Hobcraft, 2016 Improving the Potential for Innovation through Design Thinking. Herbert Simon defined design as the changing of existing conditions into preferred ones.
The course ‘Design Thinking’ is implemented in the two forms: as a blended course (a combination of seminars with lectors’ presence and supporting by educational software, i.e. interactive web-based training) and as a distance-learning course (where seminars replaced on the ‘life-webinars’). This course is the result of educational & research activities for the last 30 years and is offering a new management approach in an integrated and holistic way (i.e. via ‘Integrated management’ prism perception). The five modules of the course provide theoretical background knowledge and offer practical management tools for an effective and efficient Design Thinking implementation, the level of corporative creativity increasing and innovations support.

Digital Leadership | Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS)
The certification course is focusing on top management and people who are leading a division or department or are working as group and/or project manager with the aim to initiate and accompany the transformation from an analogue to a digital and agile company or organization.
Technology Transfer | Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS)
The course is aimed mainly at persons who are responsible for the technology management activities in companies and organizations, as well as persons who initiate and accompany the technology transfer in the global environment as group or project managers and/or process managers and/or executives related to the R&D activity.
Global Marketing & Sales | Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS)
The certification course is aimed at persons who are responsible for foreign trade in companies and organizations, as well as persons who are responsible for the positioning and marketing of products and services abroad as group managers or project managers.
Idea-& innovation Management | Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS)
The certificate course is aimed at persons who are responsible for idea and innovation management in companies and organizations, as well as persons who initiate and lead innovation and/or change management projects as group or Project managers and/or process managers.
The participants get to know different types of innovations and their classification, get an overview of tools for the evaluation of ideas and technologies and process steps from their idea to the finished development result. They learn methods for involving employees in innovation processes by creating a culture of innovation, overcoming resistance and are able to define the forces that promote or hinder change. They know the most important promoters of innovations and are able to assess their integrated interaction for successful business development. The participants acquire methodological competence for successful idea and innovation management, recognize the interaction of all elements treated and can directly apply the methods learned in practice.
