General Terms and Conditions for Certificate Courses and Seminars



Please register in writing for the seminar. If you do not use the forms prepared by us on our website, please make sure to include the name of the participant and the complete company address or invoice address with telephone and fax number and e-mail address.

Your registration is binding and will be booked by us in the order of receipt. If the event is already fully booked, we will contact you immediately, otherwise, we will send you your registration confirmation with detailed information also about the venue or hotel. With the receipt of the registration confirmation the contract is concluded.

Data storage

By registering, you agree to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of the seminar. The Export-Akademie Baden-Württemberg may also inform you about future offers. With your signature/registration, you give your consent to us storing your data and also to contact you by fax, e-mail or telephone. This consent is voluntary and can be revoked at any time for the future. Should you not wish to give this consent in this form, please inform us in writing. The revocation should be addressed to the Export-Akademie Baden-Württemberg GmbH, Konrad-Adenauer-Strasse 13, 72072 Tübingen.

Multiple bookings

In case of simultaneous receipt of several bookings by one company, the first participant pays the full participation fee and each additional participant receives a 10% discount on the respective participation fee. E-Learning courses under € 500,- are an exception to this rule.


You can cancel your registration with us up to 10 days before the start of the event without incurring any costs; thereafter the full participation fee will be charged if you do not name a replacement participant.

This also applies if the registered participant does not appear. Please remember to also cancel your hotel booking in case of cancellation.

Cancellation of events

We reserve the right to cancel the event for reasons beyond our control, such as too few registrations or cancellation of speakers. In this case, we will inform you as soon as possible. Participation fees already paid by you will be refunded. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any further claims. In any case, the liability of the Export Academy Baden-Württemberg is limited to the participation fees. If a seminar is canceled by us, you have no claim to the seminar being held. You are also not entitled to charge us for any costs that may arise, such as travel and accommodation costs or loss of working hours. The same applies to any postponement of dates that may become necessary at short notice. A change of the seminar leader and/or postponements in the course of events do not entitle you to withdraw from the contract or to reduce the participation costs.


Participation in the certificate courses and seminars of the Export Academy Baden-Württemberg is at the participant’s own responsibility and risk. Any liability on the part of the Export Academy Baden-Württemberg is expressly excluded – unless it is based on deliberate or grossly negligent behavior on the part of employees or vicarious agents of the Export Academy Baden-Württemberg. The Export Academy Baden-Württemberg is not liable for any damage, loss, or theft of participants’ personal belongings.

Reservations for changes

It can happen that the training needs to be adapted. This means, for example, that changes or deviations (e.g. due to legal changes) in content, methods, and organization occur before or during the event. If necessary (e.g. illness, accident), planned instructors can be replaced by other equally qualified persons regarding the announced topic. This can also lead to price changes.


The copyright of the handed out documents lies with the individual speakers. These documents may not be reprinted or reproduced without their prior written consent.

Participation fee

Our prices and fees are exclusive of the statutory value-added tax. We usually invoice the participation fees shortly after registration. We request payment without deduction after receipt of the invoice. Please note that an event cannot be split up among several participants or that partial occupancy cannot lead to a price reduction.

Hotel Reservations

We will be happy to assist you in booking a hotel. Please note that a reservation contract is made between you and the landlord, so that you can make changes and cancellations directly.


Should individual provisions of these conditions of participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The parties undertake to implement these conditions with an effective replacement provision that comes closest to the purpose intended by the omitted provision. German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Tübingen.
